Navigating Immigration
In January 2025, the new administration announced massive changes to immigration enforcement, including the recension of the policy of respecting the sanctuary of churches and other houses and places of worship, breaking with a tradition dating back over one thousand years in common law.
Many of our beloved members are immigrants, and our churches minister with and share space with immigrants and community groups. The potential impacts - and the anxiety communicated to the Presbytery - are real. Given that, we have compiled some helpful resources for church leaders and members in navigating these changes. As we learn more and gather more resources, we will update this page.

When a foreigner resides with you in your land, you must not oppress them. You must treat the foreigner living among you as native-born and love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
I am the LORD your God.
