In our state, visiting a “nearby” church can require two planes and a prayer for clear skies while our villages and cities face higher costs for everything from heat to insurance than most of the country. Cheerful giving and faithful, prudent stewardship have enabled us to support each other, empower vital ministries, lift up new leaders, and connect our far flung Presbytery to the wider church.
